He holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the <strong>University of Barcelona<\/strong> and completed advanced training at <strong>MD Anderson Cancer Center<\/strong> in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>With more than 12 years of leadership experience in biotech, Dr. Cascall\u00f3 is a recognized expert in the <strong>clinical development of oncolytic adenoviruses<\/strong>. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and is the inventor of several patents that have advanced viral therapies for hard-to-treat cancers. His work has been instrumental in the development of <strong>VCN-01<\/strong>, an innovative oncolytic virus currently in clinical trials for pancreatic cancer.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Cascall\u00f3 also serves as an independent expert for the <strong>European Medicines Agency (EMA)<\/strong>, contributing to regulatory science and translational research.
